Donna Forrest

Donna lived life to the fullest and was full of ambition. While raising two young children, she went back to school to achieve her Bachelor’s Degree from Meredith College, obtained her CPA license, and opened Forrest Consulting at 35 years old. She and her husband Ray pursued their dream of life on the water and lived on a boat for several years. They decided to settle back in Raleigh to be closer to their grandchildren. She always had a smile on her face and loved to tell stories of years past. Of all her accomplishments, she was most proud of her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Ray Forrest of Raleigh; son, Reggie Jackson of Raleigh; daughter, Valerie Branch and husband Landis of Charlotte; stepson, Brian Forrest and wife Shelley of Apex; sister, Rhonda West of Holly Springs; brother Eddie Register and wife Laura of Texas; grandchildren, Luke Jackson, Colt Jackson, Ace Jackson, Liliana Forrest, Brian Forrest, and Emily Forrest.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either: Millbrook Baptist Church in Raleigh, NC, Make-A-Wish Foundation or St. Jude’s Children’s hospital.
