Diane Bridges Wilson

She was born in Wake County to the late Robert McKinley and Macie Jones Bridges.

Diane was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She spent many years as a nanny sharing this same love with the children she cared for. She will always be remembered for her gentle spirit, tenderness and her smile that would melt your heart. Diane’s sweet, compassionate nature was a blessing to all who knew her. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Bobby J. Wilson; daughter, Donna Lockamy and husband, Doug; son, Bobby J. Wilson, Jr. and wife, Leslie; grandchildren, Candice Wilson, Scott Street and wife, Sarah, and Katherine Wilson; great-grandchildren, Elijah Street and Hunter Street and numerous nieces and nephews.

A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 10:00 am at Vision Baptist Church. Funeral Services will immediately follow at 11:00 am at the church and will conclude at Raleigh Memorial Park for burial.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Diane’s memory, to Vision Baptist Church, or Transitions Hospice.
