Diana Brown Lamm

Diana was born in Asheville, North Carolina on March 31st, 1948 to Marshall and Mildred Brown. She graduated from Clyde A. Erwin high school and had a very successful career in finance where she ultimately met her loving husband, Roney William Lamm, Jr. and gained a daughter and three grandchildren in 1994.

Diana was an incredible woman with the world’s biggest heart. She was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her and had the ability to bring a smile to anyone’s face with her positive energy. She never missed an opportunity to give advice, lend a helping hand or provide support and was always there for her family.

Diana is survived by her daughter, Anna Lamm Schneider (Alan), grandchildren: Megan Andrason (Alex), William Mitchell Schneider (Amanda) and Matthew Schneider (Arielle), great-grandchildren: Colton, William, Ava and Leo, her brothers: Riley Brown (Jan) and James "Jim" Brown (Karen), sister, Patricia "Pat" Cole (Perry), as well as several nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all her family and dear friends. Always loving, compassionate and giving, her spirit will live on forever in our hearts and we will continue to honor her legacy each and every day.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roney William Lamm, Jr., her mother, Mildred Hovis Brown and father, Marshall Brown.

A private graveside service will be held on Sunday, January 3rd. A memorial/celebration of life will be held in Spring 2021.
