He was born on October 19, 1942, in Massena, New York, to his parents Edward G. and Rita M. Yaddow.
Denny grew up on a farm with his parents and brother, Lee T. Yaddow and sister, Diane Yaddow. He went on from the family farm to graduate with an Associate’s Degree in Heating and Air Conditioning from Canton College in Canton, New York. He later attended and graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1972.
Dennis spent the majority of his career with Carrier Air Conditioning Company both in Syracuse, New York, and in Raleigh, North Carolina, from which he retired in 2006. Denny was a long-time member of ASHRAE, the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers. He also served in the U. S. Army from 1964 to 1966.
Denny met his wife, Sharon, in 1964 while they were both students in college. They were married on December 28, 1968, in Syracuse, New York, and through the years they were wonderfully blessed with three children, Leigh Elizabeth, Timothy John and Molly Kathleen, who later blessed him with four beautiful grandchildren, Ellen Hayes, Joshua Hayes, Grayson Saunders and Hadley Saunders.
Denny was a long-time member of Victory Baptist Church in Raleigh, North Carolina. He served in many capacities there, including Elder and Treasurer. He was also a member of the Gideons International.
Denny will be remembered by his friends and associates through the years as a man of integrity, wisdom and determination. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. His wonderful sense of humor will be remembered and treasured by all.
He will also be remembered by countless individuals whose lives he personally touched through selfless ministry and practical counsel. He was a humble servant to many.
He will be remembered by his wife, Sharon, as a man of quiet strength, perseverance, and patience, who loved her. He was a great man.
