Deborah McComb O'Connell

Debbie was known by her friends and family foremost as one who longed to share her faith in Jesus Christ with everyone she met. She generously gave her time, talent, and treasure to bless and encourage those around her. As a skilled artist, poet, and musician, she attributed her skills to the Lord who gives perfect gifts. Debbie was happiest when surrounded by her loved ones enjoying movies, singing, and dreaming of future adventures.

Surviving to remember Debbie and her lasting legacy are: William "Bill" O'Connell, to whom she was married for 21 years; son Jeffrey Wood (Jamie), daughter Christina Ramsey (Tyrone), stepdaughter Laura O'Connell, stepson Jon O'Connell; brothers Keith McComb (Debbie) and Tommy Swanson (Karen), sisters Liz McComb and Pamela Swanson; grandchildren David and Daniel Wood, Leena Garvey, Jon William Jr. "JJ", Mia, and Ryan O'Connell.

A graveside service for Debbie will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Raleigh Memorial Park, 7501 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial donations in Debbie's honor be made to Discovering Truth Ministries (www.DiscoveringTruthMinistries.org) or St. Jude's Children's Hospital (www.stjude.org).
