Daljit was a beautiful soul who approached life with positivity and determination. Her spirit inspired those around her. She always lived in “chardi kala”, and her strength and belief to see life with the glass half full made her a pure delight to be around. Her presence was contagious, her pure positive energy lit up every room she was in. She was vibrant, full of life, a real go- getter. After receiving a Master’s in Mathematics from New Delhi, India, she went on to teach before finding her path and settling in the United States.
Daljit was a true Sikh, who found solace and strength in her belief and was always ready and willing to learn. Her faith illuminated her path and was a guiding light that provided her strength and comfort. She saw beauty in all things and everyone. She saw the best in people and her belief in others instilled an inner confidence in others that anything was possible. A beacon of strength and faith, Daljit embodied the principles of Sikhism in every aspect of her life. Her devotion to Waheguru and commitment to the values of compassion, humility, and selfless service were the guiding forces that shaped her character.
Daljit found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was the best mom in the multiverse. She loved being a mom and it brought her immense happiness to be around her children. She loved going on walks and really appreciated nature. She was a woman of warmth and grace. She had a passion for the art of cooking, and her kitchen was filled with the aromas of delicious Indian dishes that she lovingly prepared for her children and family. Her love for singing echoed through the walls of our home. Music was therapy for her, she danced to her own beat and created a symphony of beautiful memories. She really enjoyed the journey and would make every experience memorable. She just knew how to make everything better. She also immersed herself in the worlds of literature due to her passion for reading and would love to travel around the world and explore new places and cultures. Daljit leaves behind a legacy of hard work, love, and spiritual guidance. She was fearless, confident and would always give the best advice. She was an extraordinary human being who will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May her soul rest in peace.
