Claude Allen Davis

He graduated from the original old Cary High School in 1952. Claude went on to work as a refrigeration supervisor and while on a business trip, he met and later married Virginia Fournier in 1956 in Lewiston, Maine. The Davis' resided in Raleigh, NC where Claude continued working as a refrigeration supervisor, and later as an automotive mechanic. Mr. Davis loved taking trips to Maine, and he loved going to the beach. He also had a love for tinkering on cars, and his prize possessions were his two, completely restored Corvairs.

Mr. Davis is survived by his wife of 58 years, Virginia Davis of Raleigh, NC; his son, Claude Allen Davis, Jr. of Pleasant Garden, NC; his daughter, Donna Everhart and son-in-law, Blaine Everhart of Dunn, NC; grandchildren, Justin and Brooke Kearney, and Kyle Davis; and great grandchildren, Payton and Abigail Godwin.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Lillian and Claude Davis; and his younger sister, Linda Davis.

Funeral services are private and burial will be held at Brier Creek Memorial Gardens.
