Charles Allen Davis Sr.

Charlie was a US Navy veteran, electrical engineer, and graduate of the University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins University.

He is survived by his fiancé, Carolyn Grant and her son Forrest Grant; sisters, Barbara Cossentino (Nick)of Hendersonville, TN, and Sarah Ramsey (Cecil) of Baltimore, MD.; niece, Patti Cossentino and nephew, Joseph Cossentino; and granddaughter, Summer Davis, of New Jersey.

He was preceded in death by his son Charles Allen Davis, Jr., his parents, Eva Roberts Davis and Laourice Davis.

He was a proud lifelong Presbyterian and member of St. Giles Presbyterian Church. Charlie was a member of Smithchart Amateur Radio Society, Quarter Century Wireless Assoç. and the American Radio Relay League. He was an avid Private pilot and Amateur Radio Operator.

A celebration of Charlie’s unique and faithful life will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at 3 PM at St. Giles Presbyterian Church, 5101 Oak Park Rd Raleigh, NC 27612. Donations in his memory may be made to the church.
