Carolyn Mayo Holloway

She graduated from UNC Nursing School and ECU College of Nursing. Having received 4 graduate degrees, she was an avid learner. She received Honor Society of Nursing and Great 100 Nurses accolades. She worked as a Director at Rex Healthcare for 12 years and ended her career as a Director at Providence Alaska Learning Institute. She loved travel, reading and her church family.

Carolyn is survived by her children, Danny Rosin (Niccole), Jon Rosin, Katherine Break (Dan); granddaughters, Kaitlin, Jessica, Brooke and Tyler; and brother, Oris E. Holloway (Joyce S.).

A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Monday, March 27, 2017 at First Baptist Church on Salisbury Street in Raleigh. The family will receive friends following in The Fellowship Hall.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Clothing Ministry at First Baptist.
