Carlos, aka Charlie, was born March 20, 1966 in Madrid, Spain, to Jose Luis and Filomena Gallardo.
He enjoyed all sports, music, westerns and anything WWII. Growing up he loved to make everyone laugh. His charisma drew everyone in. Charlie adored his family deeply and loved his children and wife with abandon. His hobby of drawing and painting have become works of art that will be forever cherished by his family. Charlie’s sense of humor, gentle, kind and quiet soul brought joy to all.
Albeit his life seems too short, those who were touched by his smile and laughter understood that the quality of his existence far exceed the time.
Charlie made his mark in the world not with grand gestures or fancy acts, but by the basic humble goodness and generosity of his character and how he brought out these qualities in others. We share our joy in the gift that his life was to us and the pain that his unexpected passing brings. In sharing the joy and the pain together, may we lessen the sadness and hurt to remember more clearly the joy.
He is survived by his son and daughter Brian Luke and Lily Rose, and his wife Laura Lea. Siblings Luisa, Esther, Luis Miguel, Rocio, Susan and their spouses. His nephews and nieces Carlos, Christina, Pamelia, Jose Luis, Alfredo, T’ziah, Justin, Matthew, Tristan, Bryce, Cole, Corey.
