I just heard about your father.  I regret that I could not attend the funeral.  I always thought so much of your father (and entire family).  I have so any snow day memories of you, your mother and father (and the sleds).

Your Dad was always so funny, loving, and just like a second Dad to me during those years.  I enjoyed keeping up with him through my mom and seeing him at Wolfpack games.  He will be missed.

Please know that you are in our prayers during this difficult time. The best testament to Byrce's legacy is the immensely high regard with wich you hold him. We are very sorry for your loss.

Bryce Younts was Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Methodist Home for Children while I was Pres./CEO. He had a significant part in helping Methodist Home for Children to become one of the leading child and family service agencies in the State and Nation. At the time of his leadership, MHC was serving annually 600 children and over 1000 families in community based settings, and the agencies endowment had risen to 20 million dollars. He was an inspiring leader and and Hazel were dear friends to Betty Lou and me. I thank God for his life.

I am sorry for your loss.  I learned a lot from Mr. Younts through the legacy he left at the Alumni Association.  He taught me what it means to have pride in your school.  The thousands of people he touched and the lives he affected will never be forgotten.

Susan and I extend our heart felt sympathy! We last saw you when you and you sister were little ones. Your Dad left a deep mark in the hearts of so many NCState folks. I've kept up with him in recent years through your Uncle Gene. One of my regrets is that I did not take time to visit him at Glenaire. Those Younts boys know how to laugh and have fun. You and your daughter have a proud legacy.

To the Family of Bryce Younts,
   Both my wife, Wendy, and I came to know Bryce (and your Mom) through our attendance at N. C. State and later through the Alumni Association.  It has been so long ago ('64-'68) that I honestly don't remember, exactly, my first contact with Bryce.  Since then, though, there have been MANY TIMES at State functions and just in and around Raleigh that I have had the pleasure of knowing, and being remembered by, Bryce (and, before her death, your Mom).  Since my graduation, Bryce has always been the smiling face of N. C. State; and, for me, a long-time friend who NEVER FORGOT my name and ALWAYS had a kind word and embrace for me.  As we have both gotten older, and been further distanced from our time at State, our contacts became less frequent, but Bryce always took the time to STOP and speak with me and ask about my family..
   While I am living, I will NOT FORGET Bryce and his warm friendship for me.  I, too, will miss him.  Our prayers and deepest sympathies are with you and your family members.  Bryce has touched my life in ways that it is difficult for me to express.  I hope you can find solace in the love and prayers of the uncountable friends and acquaintances whose lives your Mom and Dad have touched.  Wendy and I pray also that God will grant you the full measure of His love and peace during this time of grieving. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, be with you all the days of your lives, and especially now.

Randy and I and Daddy (Godfrey Stallings) are terribly saddened of Bryce's passing.  It will be hard to go to our basketball seats this season and not pass you all there....such a great NCSU fan!
