Bobbie R. Kelly

Bobbie Ross Kelly, 80, passed away Saturday morning, February 6, 2010 at Rex Hospital. Born on August 29, 1929 in Wake County; she was the daughter of the late James B. and Ruth Curry Ross and graduated Class of 1947 from Cary High School.Bobbie retired after many years with Wachovia, working as a mail clerk up to administrative assistant. She was an active member of Calvary Presbyterian Church of America and volunteered at Rex Hospital and Meals on Wheels.She is survived by her husband of over 60 years: Louis T. Kelly; daughters: Jennifer (Perry) Allen, of Apex and Jeanie (Mike) Stallings, of Suffolk, VA; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and by her sisters: Magdalene May and Dorothy May, both of Hughesville, PA.She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.Family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM at Mitchell Funeral Home (7209 Glenwood Avenue).
