Blake Allan White, 14, passed away unexpectedly on March 27, 2018. Blake was born on October 10, 2003 in Durham; the eldest son of Richard Allan White and Kelley Dorenkamp White. He attended Leesville Elementary, Middle and High School and enjoyed spending time with his friends, parkour, video games and had participated in football, soccer and Taekwondo.
He is lovingly remembered by his parents, siblings: Kathryn Ryen White and Chandler Reid White; grandparents: Shaeron and Tony Weaver and Peggy and Allan White; aunts, uncles and cousins: Brent and Amanda Dorenkamp and children Cole and Harper, Lori and Dickson Clifford and children Summer and Jenna, and Ashley and Janae White and Devin; and by many friends.
Family will receive friends Thursday evening, March 29th from 6-8 pm at Mitchell Funeral Home (7209 Glenwood Avenue), with Funeral Services to be held on Friday at 11 am at the funeral home chapel.
Officiating the service will be Rev. Kathie S. Wilkinson from Mt. Sylvan Church in Durham and serving as pallbearers will be Brent Dorenkamp, Dickson Clifford, Ashley White, Tony Weaver, Kent Dixon and Spencer Dixon.
Memorial Contributions would be appreciated in Blake’s memory to the Wounded Warriors Project.
