She is preceded in death by her brother Joseph Joyner Jr, and her husband of 43 years Harry Williams
Barbara is the much loved mother of her daughter Judy Williams and also survived by her cousins Mary Louise and Harvey, and by the Joyner families in Alaska, family members in Virginia and many nieces and nephews.
Judy would like to thank the staff of Brookdale in Cary for their care and support and for giving her the nickname "Marvelous"
A visitation for Barbara will be held Monday, December 9, 2024 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will occur Monday, December 9, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Millbrook United Methodist Church, 1712 E Millbrook Rd, Raleigh, NC 27609. A graveside service will occur Monday, December 9, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Raleigh Memorial Park Mausoleum, 7501 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612.
