Barbara Ann Parker, 80, of Raleigh, died November 7, 2016 in Raleigh. She was born April 21, 1936 a daughter of the late James and Pearl (Perry) Parrish.
Barbara retired after 30 years of service as a Physical Therapy Assistant from Dorothea Dix and then 27 years from Duke Raleigh. She enjoyed cooking, babies but most of all spending time with her family, whom she adored.
She was predeceased by her husband Lindsay Parker in 2006, her grandson Lee Tippett and her granddaughter Michelle Parker Dayton.
Barbara is survived by her two sons: Greg Parker and his wife Melissa, and Michael Parker and Teresa Tippett, grandchildren: Chris Parker and wife Genni, Ryan Parker, Darra Parker and Kayla Hartman and husband Matt., great grandchildren: Lorelei Hartman, Keeley and Lily Parker.
