Anna, a loving wife, daughter, and sister, was born on May 27, 1959, in Rapid City, SD, to Norman and Janet Lane (predeceased). She married her life-long love and best friend, Conley Earl Byrd Jr., on May 9, 1990, sharing 33 wonderful years together in Durham, NC. Anna dedicated over 30 years of her career to pharmaceutical companies GlaxoSmithKline and IQVIA.
Known for her sharp sense of humor, tenacious spirit, caring nature, and incredible smile, Anna loved to share her talent and passion for cross-stitching and baking with family and friends. She generously gifted beautiful cross-stitches and delicious homemade cheesecakes, apple pies, and cookies. Additionally, she enjoyed reading mysteries, celebrating Christmas, staying updated on the news, and watching Lifetime, Hallmark, and judge shows.
Anna is survived by her husband, Conley Earl Byrd Jr., stepchildren Jaymie Miller and Steve Byrd, and siblings Jay Lane, David Lane, Kay Lane, Lynn Daly, and Lee Ann Lane. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Janet Lane.
In memory of Anna, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, The V Foundation, or Transitions LifeCare (Hospice of Wake County).
A private service will be held at a later date.
