Amanda “Mandi” Suzanne Hutchins passed away on August 20, 2018. Mandi was born on February 28, 1980 in Kingsport, Tennessee to Dr. William B. Hutchins, Jr. and Rebecca McBride Hutchins. She was the youngest of three daughters.
Mandi excelled in everything she did, but she was passionate about cheerleading, dance, soccer and horseback riding. During her high school years, she took delight in being a lifeguard and swimming coach in the summer when she wasn’t she was always riding her horse, MC Guy. In college, she began to model for Boone Distributing as a Miller Lite Model, NASCAR, Bristol Motor Speedway, and Hooters. Her Hooters name was “Sunshine” because just like sunshine, her smile would light up the room. Moving to NC in 2001 she continued to model, hip hop dance and ride horses. Her experience and love of cheerleading awarded her an invitation to audition with the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders. She was a coach for UPWARD cheerleading in recent years. Mandi was also an avid supporter of the Tennessee Vols football team. In her spare time, she often pursued creative outlets such as gardening, cooking and crafting. After having children she prided herself on being a loving stay at home mother who always put them first.
Mandi was fun loving, warm hearted, and smart. Her beauty radiated from both inside and out. Her friendly and outgoing personality meant she was well loved by all who met her. She will be forever remembered in everyone’s hearts.
Mandi is survived by her children; Savannah Blake Smith & William Ender Smith, sisters; Christine Blair Hutchins and Rebecca Blake Hutchins Eberhart (Brian), aunt; Judith McBride Tucker, and nephews; William Addison Hutchins and Ethan Beckham Eberhart. She is predeceased by her parents.
The family would like to thank everyone for the love and prayer during this difficult time and for the continuing donations in honor of Mandi to the Extra Special Super Kids Scholarship Program.
