Amanda was born in Anchorage Alaska on November 2nd, 1987. She graduated from Pasquotank County High School and continued on to receive a BSN from East Carolina University.
Amanda was married to Matthew Adams on April 16th, 2020; they were married for 2 years.
Amanda worked as a nurse for 13 years. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with friends and family, watching movies, listening to music, and painting.
She was also actively involved in delivering meals for Meals on Wheels.
Amanda is survived by her husband Matthew, Mother Marketta Little (Jerome), Father Aaron Ramirez, Sisters Katie and Madalyn, brother Steven, nieces Kinsley and Salem, maternal grandmother Phyllis Norris, paternal grandmother Jan Ramirez, her dog Bo and other family and friends.
Amanda is preceded in death by her grandparents Jerry Norris and Armando (Sonny) Ramirez.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given in Amanda’s name to The Children’s Diabetes Foundation.
