Allen Stuart McRimmon, Jr., 63, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 12, 2018 at his home. Born on April 16, 1954 in Greensboro, NC; he was the son of Elizabeth “Lib” McRimmon and Allen Stuart McRimmon. Raised in Greensboro, Allen graduated from Grimsley High School and went on to attend NC State University. He was currently working with Dodd & Associates as a Real Estate Appraiser. Al loved spending time with his family, was an avid golfer and Wolfpack faithful.
He is survived by his loving children: daughter Amy Elizabeth Blackwelder (Derek) of Raleigh, son Benjamin Allen McRimmon (Samantha) and their children Nolan Benjamin and Bella Elizabeth also of Raleigh; his mother Elizabeth Graybeal McRimmon of Raleigh; and his brother D. Gray McRimmon (Lee Abrons) of Naples, FL; and by many other close relatives and friends. Allen is preceded in death by his father, Allen Stuart McRimmon.
A Celebration of Allen’s Life will be held on Tuesday, January 16th at 2:00 pm at Mitchell Funeral Home in Raleigh, with family to receive friends following.
