Alice was born November 7th, 1948, in Johnston Co, NC, to the late Daniel Coy Strickland Sr. and Catherine Evans. She worked with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources for 30 years.
Alice is survived by her sister, Melba McGee and her husband, Alan, of Raleigh.
In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her sister, Lelia Blackburn, and brother, Dannie Strickland.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 31st, at 2:00 pm at Mitchell Funeral Home in Raleigh. Family will receive friends prior to the service, starting at 12:30. Burial will follow the service at Raleigh Memorial Park.
