Thomas Glenn Harrell, Jr.

Mr. Thomas Glenn (Tommy) Harrell, Jr., 82, of Raeford passed away March 11, 2020 at his home.Tommy was born on March 10, 1938 in Hoke Co., one of seven children born to the late Thomas Glenn Harrell, Sr. and Daisy Taylor Harrell. He was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Ann Harrell, his brother Jerry Harrell and his granddaughter Jessica Melton.Tommy was a member of Raeford Evangelical Methodist Church. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a farmer in Raeford for over 40 years.Tommy is survived by his wife Brigitte Hain Harrell of Raeford, a son, Ricky Ward of Raeford, five daughters, Tammy Bell (Rick) of MD., Kim Melton ( Jeff) of Raeford, Judy Dicker (Chuck) of Myrtle Beach, SC., Audry Miller ( Lorne) of Perry, GA,., and Debbie Collins (Brent) of Wingate, NC., two brothers, Floyd Harrell of Fayetteville, NC., and Benjamin (Doc) Harrell of Raeford, two sisters, Katherine Bruce of Charlotte, NC., and Vicky Rose (Earl) of Rockingham, NC., several grandchildren and great- grandchildren.A visitation will be held 6-8 pm Friday, March 13, 2020 at Crumpler Funeral Home 131 Harris Ave. Raeford, NC. A funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Raeford Evangelical Methodist Church with Pastor Roger Burns officiating.Burial will be in the Raeford Cemetery.Memorials may be made to Raeford Evangelical Methodist, Building Fund, 379 West Palmer Ave. Raeford, NC 28376.Services have been entrusted to Crumpler Funeral Home of Raeford.
