Rebecca Phelps Little

Mrs. Rebecca Little of Ash died Sunday, March 22, 2015 in her home at the age of 75. Mrs. Little was born in Brunswick County on June 17, 1939 to the late Linwood Phelps and Edna Hewett Phelps. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Michael Parker, and great grandson, Austin Little. She was the owner of Beckys Seafood and a member of Camp Branch Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, McKinley Little of the home; her son Kenneth Little (Lisa) of Whiteville; her daughters, Debbie Parker of Ash, Sue Hightower of Wadesboro; her brother, James Phelps of Key West, FL; her sisters, Doris Scott of Shallotte Point, Fran Peake of Perry, GA; grandchildren, Daniel Little, Donna Clayton, Meredith Hightower, Franklin Hightower; great-grandchildren, Tristen Little, Cole Little, Lauren Clayton, Elijah Hightower, Ryan Clayton, Erin Clayton. A memorial service will be held 11 AM, Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Camp Branch Missionary Baptist Church with The Reverends Jimmy Caines and Leroy Long officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the familys home, 5675 Green Swamp Road, Ash, NC.
