She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Kenneth Boyd Grim and Mabel McBryde Grim; and her grandmother, Mary Dalton McBryde, of Raeford, NC.
Diane is survived by one brother, Kenneth B. Grim, and many cousins.
She attended Campbell University while living with her grandmother and several cousins in Raeford. After graduating, she moved back to Durham where she had previously lived. She worked for many years in the Register's Office at Duke University.
After retiring, Diane moved to Wilmington, NC where she passed away at home on March 25, 2024.
Her interment will be at the Raeford Cemetery on January 17, 2025. Diane will be at peace with the other members of the Dalton/McBryde family.
Diane was a much loved and fun filled member of our family. We hold many fond memories of our time together.
