There with steps so light and gay, she polishes the sun by day.
She lights the stars that shine at night and keeps the moon beams bright.
For mothers really never die, they just “keep house up in the sky”.
In the heavenly home above they wait. To “welcome” those they love.

Joyce Louise Joll Bartrug was born at home in a farm house in Forward Township, PA on March 26, 1936 to Clifford and Dorothy R. (Watson) Joll. She left this world on her journey to Heaven on March 3, 2023 surrounded by the unconditional love of her daughters.
Joyce lived a full life caring for her husband and five children. She and her husband were always busy with their multitude of talents. They started their married life building a home and went on to creating a jewelry business and Ashley Forge, a world-renowned craft knife making business. As if that wasn’t enough, Joyce enjoyed weaving handmade baskets.
Joyce is predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Hugh Edward Bartrug Sr., son R. Wayne Bartrug, grandchildren (triplets) Garrett, Emily and Blaine Enyeart, sons-in-law Gary C. Madsen and Major Brian S. Banks; brothers-in-law Donald Bartrug and Duane Kennedy; and sister-in-law Louise Bartrug Kennedy.
She is survived by daughters Deborah Jo Madsen of Myrtle Beach, SC; Jill (Clifford) Enyeart of North Myrtle Beach, SC; Joyce L. Banks of Raeford, NC; and son Hugh E. (Lori) Bartrug of Jefferson, PA.
Grandchildren: Ashley Martin, Owen (Danielle) Cross, Kali (Steven) Book, C. Evan (Mireille) Enyeart, Hannah (Sarah) Dirkmatt, Abigail (Adam) Guy, Allegra (Dani) Madsen, Katrina Madsen, Christine(Eric) Becknell.
Great grandchildren: Linn Mica Martin; Kaycee, Madison and David Cross; Miles Book; Hera and Ada Madsen; and Millie Becknell.
Sisters: Marlene (Donald) Ugron of Westerville, Ohio; Sally (Jim) Nicholls of Newton Falls, Ohio; Linda (Larry) Hellein of Townville, PA; brothers C.G. Joll of Ohio and Roy Wayne Joll of Elizabeth, PA; sister-in-law Brenda Bartrug of Finleyville, PA and brother-in-law Arthur Bartrug of Bridgeville, PA.
Also numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Grave-side memorial will be held at a later date to be determined.
