Mrs. Gracie Pearl Breeden daughter of Mary Francis Breeden and the late John Reedy Breeden was born on Aught 18, 1963 in Hoke County, North Carolina. She stepped into heaven on Monday July 5, 2016 at the Memorial Womens Center in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She graduated from the Hoke County High School in 1981. It is well known that she loved the Lord and was very committed to and in her walk with Christ. She was a dedicated and faithful member of the Spring Branch Missionary Baptist Church. The Lord blessed her in many ways, one being with her only Joel. The Lord also blessed Gracie her in obtaining her bachelors and Masters Degree. Gracie was a phenomenal and well respected educator throughout Hoke County Education System. She displayed an outstanding level of love for children. Her laugh was very contagious and she had no problem expressing her love for Christ. She always instilled in her students that "You can be anything you want to be." In 2015 her health began to decline, however because she was a fighter, she was determined to educate her students. Due to her dedication and love for teaching she continued to give her all. Gracie leaves to cherish her loving memories: A son Joel A. Gilchrist of home, her mother Mary Frances Breeden of the home, one brother Robert L. Malloy (Idell) of Raeford, North Carolina, one sister Hazel E. Hunte (Sydney) of Fort Knox, Kentucky. 2 grandchildren Joquan Gilchrist and Nehemiah Gilchrist of Raeford, North Carolina, 6 nieces, 10 nephews and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday July 9, 2016 at 1:00pm at the Spring Branch Missionary Baptist Church, in Wagram North Carolina and the burial will follow in the Highland Biblical Gardens in Raeford North Carolina. Public Viewing will be held on Friday July 8, 2016 from 1 to 8:30 pm at the Crumpler Funeral Home
