Thomas S. Yee

Thomas S. Yee ( Gim Sang Yee ) of Hyde Park, passed away at the age of 92 on January 24, 2021. Born and raised in China, he immigrated to the United States at the age of 12. He opened China Mill Restaurant in Arlington and then the Yee Dynasty Restaurant in Manchester, NH, where he worked until the age of 90. He loved his family, always putting them first. Thomas enjoyed family dinners, traveling, cruise vacations and his cars.

Beloved husband of Mee Lee Yee and loving father of Christopher Yee and his wife Diane of Quincy, Christine Yee and her husband George of Wilmington, Brian Yee of Londonderry, NH, and Barbara Chin and her late husband Jan of So. Easton.

He is also survived by seven grandchildren: Benjamin, Kimberly and her husband Theodore, Andrew, Caroline, Allison and her husband Jay, Melissa, Erica and her husband Daniel.

Also survived by three great grandchildren, Jason, Penelope, and Abigail.

He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held on February 17, 2021 at 4:00 pm at Deware Funeral Home, 576 Hancock St, Quincy, Massachusetts.

Funeral Service will be held on February 18, 2021 at 9:00 am at Deware Funeral Home, 576 Hancock St, Quincy, Massachusetts.

Burial will be held on February 18, 2021 at 12:00 pm at Forest Hills Cemetery, 95 Forest Hills Ave., Boston, MA.
