Lin Heung Lam

On Saturday, March 2, 2024, Lin Heung Lam — loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother — peacefully went home to be with the Lord at the age of 89, surrounded by her devoted family.

Lin was born in Guangdong, China on September 27, 1934, where she grew up in a farming village. In her early twenties, she married Mung Kui Lam and immigrated to Hong Kong with their firstborn son. In 1986, she immigrated to the United States and eventually settled in Massachusetts.

With a kind soul, Lin consistently put others before herself. A passionate gardener, she spent countless hours outdoors. Lin was a dedicated mother and grandmother who cherished moments bonding with her family. Her spiritual life was renewed when she responded to God's calling and was baptized into the Christian Faith in 1995.

Lin is survived by her four children: Po Ka and his wife Kam Sim of Hong Kong, Pamela and her husband Tek Sun of Rotterdam, the Netherlands, Cecile and her husband David of Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and Jackson and his wife Aisleena of Braintree, MA. She also leaves her six loving grandchildren: Kwan Wai, Kwan Wo and his wife Pui Chi, Wai Chun and his wife Vivian, Kwai Yun and her husband Chun Tung, Yannis, and Janice, and three precious great-grandchildren: Yik Hin, Micha, and Chi Hang.

Her kindness, unwavering guidance, and radiant smile will forever be etched in our memories.

Relatives, friends, brothers and sisters in Christ are invited to join the family during visiting hours on Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Deware Funeral Home, 576 Hancock Street, Quincy, MA 02170. The funeral service will proceed at 10:00 am on the same day, followed by a procession and interment at the Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree.

訃告 — 林莊蓮香

2024年3月2日星期六，慈愛的母親、祖母、曾祖母林莊蓮香(89歲)，在家人的陪伴下，安詳地息勞歸主。

1934年9月27日，莊蓮香在中國廣東省的一個農村出生並成長。 在她二十多歲時，與林夢驅先生結婚，其後兩人及長子移居香港。 她於1986年移民到美國，並在麻州定居。

她擁有一顆善良的心，總把別人利益置于自己利益之前。 她非常熱愛田園生活，喜歡在戶外渡過時光。 她是一位盡責的母親和祖母，珍惜及享受與家人一起的時間。 在1995年，她回應上帝的呼召，並受洗歸入基督教。

林莊蓮香育有四名子女，長子保家(妻子錦嬋)、女兒英敢(丈夫澤淳)、女兒英芳(丈夫禮賢)、幼子幸才(妻子淑秀)。 她還育有六名兒孫: 君偉、君和(妻子佩芝)、煒晉(妻子雯)、桂榕(丈夫振東)、恩力、恩善及三名可愛曾孫: 亦軒、証惠及知行。

她的善良、諄諄訓誨和燦爛的笑容，將永遠留在我們的記憶中。

誠摯邀請親友、主內的弟兄姊妹於2024年3月16日星期六上午 (9:00至10:00)，前往昆西市柯德文殯儀館 (576 Hancock Street, Quincy, MA 02170)，出席憑弔時間及參加同日上午10:00 舉行的安息禮拜。禮成後靈柩將被送往藍山墳場舉行安葬禮
