Judith A. Johnson – 83, longtime Quincy resident passed away peacefully on the afternoon of November 28, 2022. Born in Quincy, she was the beloved daughter of the late W. Forrest and Mary A. (Ring) Johnson.
Loving sister of the late Edward “Skippy” Stowers.
She is survived by her cousins, William “Ted” Spencer, Kevin Spencer, Sallee Emond and Christopher Spencer.
She was a graduate of Quincy High School and went on to work several jobs in retail. A friendly and outgoing person with such a positive outlook, she especially enjoyed her years working at Stop n Shop as a grocery bagger, where she got to talk with new people every day. Judie never met a stranger. They were only friends.
Visitation at Deware Funeral Home, 576 Hancock Street, Quincy on Friday, December 9, 2022 from 8:30-9:30 AM. Funeral Mass at 10 AM at St. Ann Church, 757 Hancock St, Quincy, MA. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment to follow at Pine Hill Cemetery.
Judith’s family would like to thank the staffs at Brookdale River Bay, PACE and West Acres Nursing Home for the extreme care and love they showed to “JJ”.
