With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of our beloved brother, Christopher “Capum” Edward Harding on September 22, 2024. Born in Dorchester on January 7, 1962, Chris touched so many lives with his kindness, wit, his ability to remember special events, his bright blue eyes, and his generosity. His passions included being OFD and listening to live music by attending several hundred live concerts. His favorite bands were KISS, Bon Jovi, and Aerosmith. He was an avid Harley Davidson rider for over four decades, loved his Boston sports teams, watching Jeopardy, reading, and his freedom.
Capum worked for H & R Block as a Tax Analyst for 16 years and as an Account Manager at Avenu Insight and Analytics, Quincy MA. He earned his B.A. in Economics at UMA, Boston in 1985.
Capum was the son of the late Ellen G. Harding and Charles E. Harding. He leaves behind his siblings Charles “Chip” E. Harding and his wife, Polly, Marshfield, Steven M. Harding, Taunton, his best friend and sister MaryEllen Harding, Braintree, nieces Kristin E. Harding, Dorchester, Courtney A, Hazzard, Weymouth, Lauren C. Harding, Whitman, and his great nephew, Logan D. Mahoney, Dorchester and so many dear friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for visiting hours on Thursday, October 3, 2024 from 4-8 pm at Deware Funeral Home, 576 Hancock St., Quincy, MA. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Divine Mercy Parish, St. Ann’s Church, Hancock St., Quincy on Friday, October 4, 2024 at 10am.
