Sylvie is predeceased by her parents Edward and Irene Chandradai, her brothers Wilfred, Ronald, and Khemraj, her sisters Victorene, Rosie, and Maureen, her nephew Sunil Janack, and her grandson Noah Ram. She leaves behind her children, Allan Ram (Heather), Hema Ford (Tracy), Amanda Bachan (Devendra), and Alicia Civitillo (Gianmario), grandchildren, Jocelyn and Dylan Ram, Ayiana and Jason Ford, her siblings, Deenauth (Reds), Lloyd, and Reena, nieces and nephews (and their children), Kevin, Simone, Keval, Devina, Anand, Elliot, Satesh, Sabina, Navin, Andy, Kamini, Tamesh, Devana, Devin, Tina, Anil and Dave, aunties and uncles, cousins, and her beloved parrot, Polly.
Sylvie was a dedicated mother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a very generous and giving person who always put the needs of others above her own. She will be remembered for her love of gardening, sewing, and cooking as well as being involved in community events. Her memory will live on in the hearts of the many lives she touched.
A visitation for Sylvie will be held Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at R. Stutzmann & Son, 224 39 Jamaica Ave, Queens Village, NY 11428. A visitation will occur Friday, December 29, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 224 39 Jamaica Ave, Queens Village, NY 11428. A funeral service will occur Saturday, December 30, 2023 from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM, 224 39 Jamaica Ave, Queens Village, NY 11428.
