Robert J. Rene

Robert was born in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti to the late Henoch Rene and Antoinette Fabien on September 14, 1951. He had a joyful life as a child. He would ride his bike and play soccer with the neighborhood kids.

In the mid 60's he came to the US. He got married on December 16, 1972 to Renee Theodore and started a family. Robert gained employment at Chase Melon bank as a Research Clerk with an impressive work ethic which eventually moved him up to Stock Analysis. Robert worked in this field for 30 years before retiring early due to a stroke in 2008.. However, this did not stop Robert who lived life to the fullest as he traveled the world with his wife Renee Rene and friends. To know Jean Jean was to know a man who loved to laugh and tell stories. He especially loved the time spent with his cousins Raymond Romain, Jacques" Jacky" Romain and Gerald "Waldo" Romain, who were like brothers to him.

He was preceded in death by his wife Renee Rene, his cousins Jacques Romain and Gerald Romain; and his nephew Ralph Macajoux

Robert is survived and lovingly remembered by this two children Patricia Rene-Cadny and Lesly R. Rene; his grandson Justin Cadny; his sister Marie J.. Macajoux; his nephew Claude J. Macajoux, and niece Johanne Pairaktaridis

A visitation for Robert will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at R. Stutzmann & Son, 224-39 Jamaica Ave, Queens Village, NY 11428. The funeral mass will be on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Sts. Joachim & Anne Roman Catholic Church, 21827 Hollis Ave, Queens Village, NY 11429. The burial will follow at Nassau Knolls Cemetery, 500 Port Washington Blvd, Port Washington, NY 11050.
