I’ll never forgot the day i was waiting for alexis at the corner of her block for like 30 mins, and i think ms wright was waiting for her too, and she seen me at the corner hiding behind the bushes and started walking towards me. My heart started racing and i didnt know what to say. This lady just stared at me in disappointment. I’ll never forget what she said “John, ya tink meh DUMB?” Lol. After that, that lady always told me to just come to the house. She was my first “mother in law” lol never disrespected me, was never really mean, just very blunt with questions and statements, if you know her then you know lol but we both respected each other. I’ll never ever forget her. Thank you for being kind to me Ms Wright. May your soul Rest in Peace. And i’ll be sure to keep an eye on your yellow daughter ;-)

My mom is forever going to be my mom. She was quite a character and loved hard, so you better have listened to her. I still to this day have no idea what was going through her head when her and my dad decided to adopt me at such older ages, I'm younger than her grandchildren! But she raised me and treated me no different. That was mommy and when she yelled my name EVERYONE would laugh or get scared.  She would give my friends advice or a tongue lashing if she saw you act up, everyone was her child if you were my friend. The memories she had of all of us growing up used to make me laugh because she would go "omg you all were soo cute look at you all now" and giggle or "you all love to go out, I do not understand why you love to leave home, just come home before the alarm" . My mom has seen so many generations grow up and has helped and touched so many people's lives. I cannot believe she's gone but she's watching over all of us. 

What to say! Marge was a fiery and fun one. My favorite memory was attending high school with Alexis her daughter. It was a summer day, a group of us were going to walk to Dunkin Donuts and just as we put our hand on the door knob you heard " ALEXISSSSSSS" in the thickest jamaican accent. She was so little but you could tell she was not a mom who plays around.  She looked at me and smiled. " you better get back here before the alarm goes off". I nodded. The kicker was- she didn't tell us when she was setting the alarm. :) It was a fun introduction to Lexi's life. Ms. Marge will be missed, but her vivaciousness lives on thru her children.
