Joe, you are still sorely missed.  All. The. Time.

STILL missing my best friend.  I miss his humor and intelligence.  A true regret of my life we had lost touch.  

Though we lost contact. Joey was my childhood and ultimately lifetime best friend.  I am SO incredibly sorry for the loss for the family.  God bless.

I keep thinking in lots of ways about Joe these days.  I find myself going back to real young days and  think how I as a younger sister got a glimpse of a boy's world through Joe. With my sister Susan I could live in a Barbie world,  but I lived on the edge of boys' world with Joe. I recall how he would play skelly (an urban game, the board drawn on the ground with chalk) for hours and hours. I watched Joe and the other boys compete raucously as they would shoot their melted crayon bottle caps with thumb and middle finger to land in the right numbered box. He often tired of me as I asked to "shoot" and I would invariably cause him to fall behind in the game. He didn't get rid of me though,  eventually,  he partnered with me, as I made beautifully swirled patterns of color in the cap, and -  just the right concentration of melted crayon would let that skelly cap slide effortlessly to the other side.  Skelly tournaments would last til the sun fell from the sky in the summer. During the school year I would meet him behind the cafeteria to walk home. I had to wait some as he and his friends on the lunch squad had to crate up the unused milks from the day.  There was much silliness and horseplay and some of the kids would tell me to get lost, but Joe always said "wait for me Anna, we'll walk home together." And we would walk home, marvelling at the fat earthworms after a rain, or picking up multi colored wire strewn on the sidewalk by the telephone company building we passed daily. I am grateful for those days that now seem so idyllic, and later ones of college, careers, marriages,  children, challenges and laughter - we still walked together. I will miss you Joe. 

So very sorry to hear of Joe's passing. He was 8 years younger than me but I do remember him as a baby, a little boy and then as a very nice man. He was  a gentle and sweet guy easy to talk to. I remember he told me his favorite group was REO Speedwagon, I don't even know how I remember that. We don't have a lot of kind people in the world today so his loss will be deeply missed. He grew up with his sisters who I know will miss him very much, and all his cousins.....they were a lucky bunch to have each other. I hope Joe found peace and tranquility where he went and I know there were many people to meet him and guide him to his next adventure. Good bye Joe, I will miss you and miss knowing you are no longer here with us but I wish you love and happiness. Ciao

I have so many memories of me and Joe . From playing stickball to playing brisqa and me always trying to remember the cards at the end of the game and joe ALWAYS rembering the cards at the end of the game. Major talks about girls and baseball. Joe was a yankee fan and I was a met fan. From eating pizza at the Cozzi pizza shop . To waiting for the famous aunt Yolanda zepelas at Christmas .i saw joe  when my father died 2 years ago. It was the 1st time we talked in a while. I am going to miss you my cousin. I M not religious but if it us true what they say that you get to be with your loved ones than I am sure Joe is happy being with uncle nunzi and aunt Yolanda again . Rest In Peace  Joe.

My sincere condolences for your loss,,,life like a mist appears for just a day then disappears tomorrow, all that we are can quickly fade away replaced with tears and sorrow but this is temporary not final because we have the hope of the resurrection where we'll see our loved ones again including Mr Joseph,,there will come a time when sickness and death will be done away with as stated in Rev.21: 4,,until then, take comfort in the God of all comfort to sustain you all in this most difficult time,,take care and be well
