We liked to call him “The Legend” and it was for good reason. Carlos had a giant heart filled with nothing but love for his family and friends. He was a man of principle and defined integrity. But he was also generous and selfless. Our time together in this world was too short and we treasure every moment we had with him.
Carlos earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Queens College, but spent most of his career in banking, where he met his beautiful wife Jeannette at the age of 24.
Carlos had many hobbies, such as reading but what he loved most was staying physically fit. He ran track, biked, played basketball, baseball, and football. He inspired all of us with his time in the gym lifting weights and staying in the best shape possible. He also had an undying loyalty to his two favorite teams, the Mets and the Jets.
However, his true passion was spending time with his family. His loving bond with his beloved mother, brother and late father defined his relationships from a young age. His wife was his Queen and his children his life blood. Movie nights, group activities, and keeping family traditions alive were all how Carlos Noriega showed his love. He was both a cheerleader and a pillar of support for his family and his friends. No sacrifice was too great for those he loved. Carlos will be greatly missed by all of us who were lucky enough to have him in our lives.
He is survived by his wife Jeannette, and their sons, Daniel, Jason and Aaron.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.rstutzmannandsonfuneralhome.com for the Noriega family.
