You honored me by asking me to give the speech at your wedding. It touched my heart. The family has many fond memories of you, you will not be forgotten. I thank the Lord God for my Uncle Anthony. I am grateful for the time I was able to spend with him; as he was always a joy to be around. I’ll always love him and I miss him terribly. His life was a gift from the Lord. All of our lives are gifts; as we are all created in God’s image, and that is never meant to be taken lightly. All of our lives are so short and so very brief, which is why it is of the greatest importance that we know the Lord. More than that, that the Lord knows us (Matt. 7:13-29; Luke 12:1-21; James 4:13-16).

The Bible says that all have sinned and have earned God’s wrath as a result (Rom. 6:23). That by nature and apart from the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit, all mankind is in a hostile relationship with God (Rom. 8:7-9); all are in enmity with Him, and all are dead in sins and trespasses (Eph. 2:1-3; James 4:4; 1 John 2:15-17); as our sin has separated us from Him. The Bible says that one is only reconciled to the Most High God; redeemed, forgiven, brought from spiritual death to spiritual life only through faith in the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ – alone. He who lived the perfect life none of us could, went to the cross as the perfect and ultimate sacrifice, taking upon Himself the full force of God’s wrath in place of His people (Isa. 53). So that now, God’s justice has been satisfied through the cross for all who believe and trust in Messiah. The righteousness of the Father was upheld in the death of His only Son; His crushing of Him, and He can now be the justifier of the one who places faith in Christ Jesus (Rom. 3; 2 Cor. 5:21).

Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, according to the Scriptures alone and for the glory of God alone (Mark 1:15; John 3:3, 16-21, 5:24-27, 11:25-26, 14:6; Acts 4:12). Repent and believe the Gospel. Turn to Christ for the remission of sins, peace with God and everlasting life. If Uncle Anthony could tell us anything now, he would tell us to do just that.

My dear brother, I still cannot accept you are gone. Have to keep my mind occupied, because my heart is broken💔

dear uncle,
     It doesn’t feel real that youre gone, i know that i didn’t get to see you that often cause life does tend to get in the way but i knew you were always there for me, always a phone call away. I have this guilt that i didn’t call you as often as i should’ve and for that i'm sorry, last time i got to see you was in march for nanas n bobas anniversary, i’ve been meaning to call cause i’ve been missing you but i never got the chance to say i love you one last time, i hope god had welcomed you into his kingdom and that your looking down on me as i write this cause i write this is a heavy heart, you were a great uncle and i miss you very much.

W went through the academy together in the summer of 1995 . We started as new officers together at AKCF . It was a honor to have worked with Anthony . And a pleasure to have known him . We had many laughs together over the years .  So sad to hear of his passing. Rest In Peace my brother ! 

My deepest Condolences to the family of Anthony.  As a new officer you where always kind to me. I will never forget you sold me your truck because I was a New dad and needed a SUV. You had such a good heart, May you rest in peace Brother 🙏🏾
