Ann D. Riches

Ann was the oldest of 5 children born to Cesare and Geraldine Camporeale. Her siblings are Lenny, Mary, David and Robert who were twins. She was a loving and devoted daughter and sister. Contributing to the family when she worked, bringing little gifts to her siblings and just helping in what ever way the family needed.

She married John Riches (aka Jack) at 19 and on Oct. 5th they would have been married 63 yrs. They shared a real deep love for each other and were never apart until her hospitalization 2 1/2 mos. ago. Up until that they would still sit together holding hands or with her head on his shoulder.

Ann and Jack have 2 sons, John and Christopher. John married a wonderful girl Judy and they have Jillian and Jason. Ann deeply loved Judy and her grandchildren and was always so proud of their accomplishments. Ann continued to work into her seventies, until her health started to fail. Chris helped his father and later was the main caregiver for Ann over the past 8 yrs. or so as her health declined. Ann was extremely bright but after a surgery 10 yrs ago she developed dementia and was limited in her ability to communicate and for the most part and became home bound for quite a few years.

In her younger days she worked as the bookkeeper for St. Gerard's parish as well as volunteering for many parish activities and ministries.

She was not able to go to church for quite a while but never lost her faith. She had a devotion to Mary and St. Jude.
