I was just looking through some old papers and found Dennis's name and number.  We were roomates many years ago in the Navy when we were stationed in Rhode Island.  He talked about his then future wife Vicki quite often.  We last talked when he was working on Boeing field.  Though belated, please accept my deepst sympathy.

It has been a few years since I last worked with Dennis, and it was always a pleasure. I believe the message of Dennis' life was expressed at his graveside service today.  His love for God was evident as the message of Jesus' wonderful saving grace was shared with all that attended.  If Dennis could speak to us now, I believe he would want each of us to know & believe that God loves us so much that He sent His Son to die on that cross for our sins so that we will have eternal life with Him in Heaven. As born- again believers, we get great comfort & peace knowing that we will be seeing Dennis again when God calls each one of us home. Dennis, was a great friend and mentor, to me and many around him, Dennis will be very much missed. My depest sympathy goes out to his family.

I knew Dennis for 25 yrs or so. I first worked along side of him when he was an electrician and I a mechanic. We had the usual mech vs elec verbal jabs, but all in good fun. But mostly I worked for him and the banter continued but was mgr vs hourly. Like everyone else, I thought a lot of him and respected his opinion and leadership ability. But what really touched me was when he attended my Son's memorial service. That is when I needed him and others like him the most and it will always stay with me and for which I will always be grateful. My deepest sympathies to his family and other closest friends.

My deepest condolences to Vicki and the Quinlan family. I feel blessed to have known him through work and common life experiences which we shared. May God grant you peace and comfort.

Dear Dennis,  you were one of the first people that met me when I entered Puyallup High school.  Such a friendly, endearing person. You were always friendly and had a wonderful sense of humor, never at the expense of someone else!  Kind, considerate, everyone that knew you knew you were a special person!  I am happy I got to see you one last time at the "linner"  at  the restaurant and meet your lovely wife!  I am sending thoughts to your family, and to all of us, your huge number of friends! I have know Dennis the last 6 years communicating on the phone, really didn't get to meet him in person until 2 years ago working flight test in Seattle. When you first meet a person you know if you going to click or not, Dennis and I clicked, Dennis was in charged of another jet, when he or I needed help no problem supporting one another. 

Dennis is a person I would say he was devoted to flight test flight test everyone respected him from upper management all the way down to hourly ranks. Not everyday you get to meet a person that's honest, fair, gets the job done, and  most of all A great guy to work with, You will be MISSED IN FLIGHT TEST MY FRIEND

Dennis was one of the first electricians I worked with on the Flight Test flight line 25 years ago.  I remember, like it was yesterday, how Dennis taught me a simple way to coil up a wire, so as not to end up with a twist in each coil.  One of those things they don't teach in school, but just makes sense.  Kind of a simple example, but to me, revealed a lot about him.  Ever sense then, when I approached an airplane on the flight line and saw Denis, I knew my job was going to be a little easier.  My most recent project was working with Denis in Glasgow.  Not only was Dennis a good person to work with, but it is obvious to me that he was a good man as well.  He cared about his guys and his family.  I will surly miss Dennis.  My thoughts and prayers go out to Dennis's family.  Thank you for sharing him with us.

Dennis was a special friend of mine too. We worked together on and off for the last twenty yrs at Flight Test. Dennis was an excellent manager, cared about his people and running the airplanes safely. We were in Roswell in 2003 and he took me to his secret best chicken fried steak place. It was awesome and we enjoyed a great meal together. He will truly be missed. My deepest condolences.

Dennis was a great friend.  Started 5th grade with him at Maplewood in Puyallup thru graduation at Puyallup High School. Many good memories.  Vickie, you were such a lucky girl to be with him.  I enjoyed seeing you guys come to the fair the see me at work.  Only a month ago we had our pictures taken infront of a quilt.  So glad I did that.  God Bless you and your family.

I like many others in flight test and around Boeing will miss him greatly. He was my mentor as a new manager in flight test and he was a great teacher and friend. God bless him and his family.

I have known Dennis since 1995.  I enjoyed his company and his great presence as a co-worker, manager, and friend.  Dennis was genuine and sincere.  I will miss stopping by and seeing him every night at work.  I was blessed to have known Dennis and his family was truely blessed for having him in their lives.  God has a special place for Dennis and I pray that he provides comfort to all his love ones.  Truely a fine man.

I've worked with Dennis for about the last 20 years and can attest that he was  a great friend and co worker! I am truly blessed to have known and worked with him. He genuinely cared about people, the airplanes he managed and was liked by all who knew him. Dennis loved history, guns and sightseeing. One of my fondest memories with Dennis was while we were on remote in New Mexico. While on remote, he and I visited museums,historic sites, Carlsberg caverns and many good restaurants. Over the years I have enjoyed many hours of deep conversations as well as light hearted banter. I cherish them all. He will be greatly missed by all and never replaced in our hearts. May God comfort you during your time of loss.

Unlike some of the others, I have not known Dennis for too long. I was fortunate to work with him and we shared many interests which we were able to talk about. Dennis always impressed me with his knowledge and passions. Knowing him has definitely affected my life. He will be missed!

I hadn't seen him in years but I have fond memories of playing football and baseball in the vacant lot between your houses. I'm very sorry to hear of his passing.

When I look back on my childhood, Denny was always there.  We played *school* and had so many good times together as little ones.  I'm so blessed to have had him in my life.  Such a kind soul.  You will be missed.

Dennis was always a joy to be with and he had a wonderful sense of humor. It seems like whenever I talked to him, I came away laughing out loud and that made me feel good. Dennis' memorial will be November 19th at the Mt. Tahoma National Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Reception following at the Pioneer Park Pavillion in Puyallup at 1 p.m.

I have had the priviledge to work with Dennis several times during my time in Flight Test.  He has always been great to work with and I will miss him very much.  On our last remote together to Charleston, SC, I was able to meet Vicki, what a wonderful person.  Dennis turned out to be a great tour guide for Charleston and made the remote very enjoyable for me by sharing places to tour when I was done with work for the day and weekend.  May God Bless you all and give you strength and comfort.

Dennis was a good manager, mentor and friend. I've known him for the past 25 years. Worked with him and for him many times, always treated me fairly, with trust and respect. I will miss him. My deepest sympathies to his family.
