C. Russell Coffman

Son of Elizabeth and Charles Coffman entered this life on 5-5-1928 in Aberdeen WA. and went to join the love of his life, Amelia, in heaven on 2-7-2016 in Tacoma, WA. Survived by his children: Chris (Lynn), James and Peggy Mills; six Grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and many extended family and friends. Russ was a kind, loving, generous, husband, father, grandfather. We will miss his hugs, singing, advice and the wood shop will never be the same. Russ served in the Army before completing his education at the University of Washington. He was a CPA and was listed as a top CPA in Money Magazine.Russ was a proud member of the Masonic Fraternity serving as Worshipful Master several times, held multiple Grand Lodge offices. He was also a member of Scottish Rite of Tacoma, and OES where he served as Worthy Patron with his wife and daughter.He had many hobbies including woodworking, raising and showing Collies, fishing and camping in his younger years as well as supporting his children in their activities in Indian Guides, Scouts, Rainbow, and DeMolay.
