Benjamin Rolfus Sack was born in Pella, IA to Rolf and Juanitta Sack on Dec. 14, 1934. He passed away April 19, 2015 in Puyallup, WA. At 14 years old his family moved to Olympia, WA, where he graduated from Olympia H.S. in 1952. He then served in the U.S. Army. In 1965 he married DeAnn Armstrong; they would have celebrated 50 years together this August. Ben was a well-known Porsche mechanic and had been a service manager at several car agencies. He was co-owner and manager of Queen City Aviation, an air charter business and flight school on Boeing Field. Ben was predeceased by his parents and his older brother, Ervin. He is survived by his wife DeAnn, son Brennen (Maikia) Sack, daughter Brynne Ann (Christopher) Jackson, 5 grandchildren, Caleb, Keegan, and Cael Sack; Rose and Norah Jackson. He also leaves behind his brother Kenneth Sack, and sisters Nancy (Scott) Springer and Martha (Donald) Kunkel, along with many wonderful nieces and nephews. He will be remembered as a loyal friend, a man who could fix anything, and a person to whom people turned when they needed help. There will be a viewing on Thurs., April 23rd, 4-8pm, followed by a memorial service on Friday, April 24th, at 1 pm, all at Powers Funeral Home, 320 W. Pioneer, Puyallup.
