Thoughts and prayers are with the family in this time of loss.  

I first met Penny at work about ten years ago.   We worked so well together and in more recent years discovered we shared an interest in crocheting which created more of a friendship.  Penny was a beautiful lady both inside and out. I really miss my co worker and friend.  She is now a beautiful angel. Rest In Peace my friend. 

I met Penny about 18 years ago when she moved back here from Baltimore. She joined a little circle of  friends who hung out and got themselves into a bunch of middle age, single lady trouble.  Eventually others went their own way, but Penny and I stayed close.   We went on a lot of adventures together. We were famous for getting lost, even with the advent of GPS. The funny thing about our friendship was that we really didn't have much in common as far as interests and hobbies. Penny loved her cameras. She would visit family and come home with a thousand pictures. She took great photos and she wanted to show me all of them. I'd tell her, "pick 20 of your best and I'll look at those".  She would laugh at me and show me at least 200.  
I could write a book of all the reasons I loved her and what she meant to me in my life, but I will save those things for private memories. To her family, whom she adored, I will say that I'm glad she took all those pics for you to remember and share with the great-grands and the great-great-grands to come. You can tell them  her old friend Diane said she was a hoot.

Prior to being married into the family Penny informed me that I was to refer to her as mom mom because she was official my mom mom now. She always brightened up the room and cared deeply about those she considered family. Although knowing her for a short time she left a big impact on my life and will certainly never be forgotten. Rest is peace, mom mom. Love you!

I did not know Penny well, but knew she was a woman of God and very kind to all around her. God be with all her family and friends. Prayers are with you. 

I am so very saddened to learn of Penny’s passing she was indeed a beautiful lady inside and out.  My last time seeing Penny she was so happy and so proud to share with me news of her children and grandchildren.  They were her true heart and soul and she loved them all unconditionally.  May they keep her alive in their hearts  and cherish their precious memories of her.

Penny was an amazing woman! I loved having our long talks about everything. She had so much wisdom, but knew how to make someone laugh and feel better. Even if she knew you from just one conversation, she could care about you getting home safe. There will never be anyone like Penny. Miss you, and love you Mommom. 

Unfortunately, I have only known Penny a short time but I can tell you she was full of life.  We all have Alexa’s and she would try to call Kristin and Tyler and sometimes I would get her on my Alexa instead.  We would talk and laugh and she made me feel like I had known her for years.  I’m gonna miss those little talks because of a mistake in Alexa.  Rest In Peace beautiful Penny.  You will be missed by many 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

The whole family is in our thoughts and prayers. We will always cherish the memory of our trip earlier this year with Penny and so glad we got to make those memories.

I met Penny through the coloring group in Port Charlotte also and always enjoyed talking to her. I moved away so I had not been in touch with her. I am so sorry for your loss.

I was so sad to hear about Penny.  I hadn't seen her since our coloring group at Panera ended but I followed her on FB.  She was a wonderful and loving person who cared deeply for her family.I am sending my deepest sympathy to you all.
