Martha Elizabeth Goff (Beth), was born on January 28, 1974 in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, to Martha Patricia and James Edward Brightwell. She was the youngest of six siblings, Sandra, Vicky, Donna, Eddie, and Curtis. In 1982, the Brightwell family relocated to Andalusia, Alabama, where she remained until meeting the love of her life, or as she would say, her Whooping Crane, Dennis Clint Goff. At which point she and Clint planted their roots and raised their children here in Charlotte County.
Not only was Beth a devoted wife, she was also incredibly supportive of her children and their aspirations. She loved and lived fiercely. Her infectious laugh will be forever remembered by anyone who had the pleasure of meeting her.
Beth passed away unexpectedly the age of 47 at their second home in the Tennessee mountains on April 23, 2021. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Clint Goff, sons Clark Brightwell (Alex), Avery Brightwell (Brooke), Ethan Goff, daughter Hannah Goff, and Grandchildren Ashlyn, Atleigh, Atticus, Atlis, and Abraham. She was preceded by her father James (Ed) and brother Curtis.
Beth will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
