Jim was a kind, loving and funny person. He was a teddy bear of a man. Jim was a quiet but friendly person. He was beloved by many and will be forever missed by his family and friends. Jim loved The Green Bay Packers, NY Mets, fishing and gaming. He was a wizard with computers and electronics.
Jim is survived by parents Liz and Frank Lawson, James (Carol) Plunkett, sister Jennifer, brother in law Erik, brother Richard, his niece Ella, nephews Jason and Nolan, girlfriend Angeline Anderson and best friend Dale Peterson. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, many cousins and many wonderful friends.
He was preceded in death by grandparents James and Sachiko Plunkett, Louis and Kathleen Ricca, uncles Ernest Ricca, Patrick Plunkett and Richard Plunkett.
A visitation for Jimmitz will be held Sunday, December 31, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 635 E. Marion Ave, Punta Gorda, FL 33950, followed by a celebration of life from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
