Edward T Loya, Sr. born April 15, 1937 in Woonsocket, R.I. passed away December 13, 2021 peacefully at home with his family. In 1958, at the age of 20, he started his first business in Ballston Spa, NY - Ed Loya's Used Auto Parts & Salvage, still in existence today under new ownership. Even after retirement, he continued his love of scraping cars.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents- Thomas and Violia loya; his first wife- Elnora Loya; sisters- Janet McMillian, Phylis Randal, Beverly Terry; brother- Alfred Loya; stepson- John Truett; grandson- Timothy Truett. He leaves behind his loving wife Lenoir Loya; children- Candy (Kevin) Benson, Tammy Loya, Edward (Debbie) Loya, Jr.; step children- Tyler (Cindy) Truett, Thomas Carter, Sandra (Denny) Bryant; 12 grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren; sisters- Betty (Titus) Flowers, Joyce (Bruce) Richards; brothers- Tommy Loya, Arthur Loya, Richard (Theresa) Loya, Jerry (Sharon) Loya, William (Anna) Loya, Douglas Loya.
