He was born in Goodspring, TN on November 9, 1934, his parents were the late Elmer Calvin and Ruby McDougal Howell, his wife was the late Melva Jean Nave Howell, a long time member of the Lion’s Club and held all offices of the club, Deacon, teacher and music director of Shores Baptist Church, he was a Gideon, a member of the Bee Keeper’s Association, served in the US Navy.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 3PM to 8PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, 6-5-14, at the Shores Baptist Church, visitation at the church will be from 9AM until funeral time at 11AM, burial to follow in Shores Memory Garden.
Survivors are: sister, Nell Howell of Pulaski, TN, sister in laws, Bulah Breeding and Lavell Norwood. nephews, Kenny Breeding, Mickey Shelton and Sean Nave, nieces, Tammy Bass, Lorie Williams, Sheree Peoples,.
