Thomas Clayton Turner

He was born at Pisgah, TN on January 18, 1928, retired from Bell South Telecommunications, preceded in death by his parents, John Henry and Esther Elizabeth Minatra Turner, a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church, Army Signal Corp., Telephone Pioneer, and served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 1, 2016, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with burial to follow in Giles Memory Gardens.

Survivors are: wife, Rachel Mitchell Turner of Pulaski, TN, son, Barry Clayton Turner and wife Susie of Birmingham, AL, grandson, Benjamin Clayton Turner of Walker County, AL, great grandson, Michael Lee Murphy of Birmingham, AL.
