Terry Lane Gilliam

Mr. Gilliam was born February 23, 1942 in the Pleasant Hill community to the late James P. and Doris Louise Williams Gilliam. He was a retired tool and die operator at Nissan and Murray Ohio, a member of the Mimosa Lodge 542 in Lawrenceburg TN. and the Al Menah Temple.

Visitation will be Saturday October 26, 2013 from 5 until 7 p.m. at Powell Chapel Baptist Church in Murfreesboro and Sunday October 27, 2013 from 4 until 7 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with masonic service to follow at 7. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday October 28, 2013 at Carr & Erwin Chapel with interment in New Hope Cemetery

Survivors include his wife Opal Nix Gilliam of Murfreesboro, daughters Terri Lynne Gilliam of Nashville, Susan Gilliam Colley and husband Drake of Columbia, brother James F. Gilliam of Maryville, TN., sisters Beverly McGee of Fayetteville, Phyllis Fentress of Murfreesboro, grandchildren Elizabeth Erwin Persinger and husband Nick, Abigail Thornton, Michael Thornton, great grandchildren Samuel Nix Persinger and James Persinger.
