He was born in Minor Hill, TN on August 21, 1932, his parents were the late Mahlon Edward and Lizzie Mae Womack Butler, he served in US Navy, and his two true loves were God and his family.
Visitation will begin at 1PM Sunday at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home, with graveside services to be held on Sunday at 2:30PM at Giles Memory Garden.
Survivors are: cherished wife of 59 years, Patricia Davis Butler of Franklin, TN, sons, Randy Butler of Hendersonville, TN and Matt Butler of Brentwood, TN, daughter, Kim Young of Franklin, TN, 8 grandchildren.
