He was born in Giles County, TN, on October 15, 1939, retired from Maremont Gabriel Corp., and served in the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond David Chapman, Sr., and Martha Ozelle Birdsong Chapman, his brother, William Hugh Chapman, and his sister, Betty C. Redd.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy H. Chapman of Pulaski, TN, his son, Eric David Chapman of Pulaski, TN, his sister, Joyce E. Dunnivant and husband James of Pulaski, TN, 2 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin on Friday, August 17, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with burial to follow at Giles Memory Garden.
