Jimmie was a self-employed contractor. He loved taking a backroad to anywhere, going to Tunica with his late wife, hitting the jackpot, and lovingly aggravating his friends and family. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend.
Jimmie was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years Sue Ann Jones, his parents Thomas Calvin (T.C.) and Mary Jones, brother Jerry Jones, and sister Joyce Jones-Harris all of Minor Hill. He is survived by daughter Bridget Jones of Minor Hill/Pulaski TN, son Tim Jones of Minor Hill, sister Marchelle (Kevin Kirby) of Anderson, AL, several nieces and nephews also survive.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Giles County Humane Association at P.O. Box 237 Pulaski, TN 38478.
Services will be held at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home on July 26, 2024 at 11 am until 1pm with Memorial Service to follow.
