Mr. Russell was born July 5, 1934 in Pulaski, TN to the late William Lee “Happy” and Peggy Hedgecoth Russell. He was retired from Russell Sign Company and a US Army veteran.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 pm Thursday August 28, 2014 at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. Funeral will be 2 pm Friday August 29, 2014 at Carr & Erwin Chapel with interment in Giles Memory Garden.

Survivors include his wife Betty Smith Russell , son Randy Russell, daughter Rhonda Kelton and husband Robert all of Pulaski, sister Carolyn Crowder and husband Bill of Lawrenceburg, grandchildren, Jon Russell, Joshea Russell, Meredith Howard, great grandchildren Fiona, Maddie and Nathan Howard.
